New Year 12 2011-12 Economics Homework
Welcome
Following your pre sixth lessons we would like you to complete as homework over the summer holidays the following tasks, due to be handed in first day back:
ECON 1 - Write up a report explaining the main reasons why the price of oil has fluctuated in recent years and what you expect it to do next?
ECON 2 - Write a news article on: "Is the Government right to proceed with the pace and size of its government spending cuts?"
For both pieces of work refer to try to avoid normative (opinion based judgements) and instead use positive economics referring to research you have used, economic theories you might have discovered and economics data.
If you want to stretch yourself - see the 'Strech yourself' post. Please feel free to comment - ask for additional help.
