Dear Parent/Guardian
I am pleased to inform you that we have been able to arrange for a visit to the London Dockland Museum, Bloomberg in the City of London and the Bank of England Museum on Monday 11th July. The trip will offer a valuable insight into the global commodities market in the City of London and how the Bank of England is dealing with the challenge of targeting inflation.
The cost of the trip is £12.50 to cover transportation by coach from Cherwell School to the locations we are visiting. We will be leaving the School at 8.00am and returning by 6.00pm, students are to report to reception North site by 8am.
In order for your child to participate in this event the school requires parental consent. Please can you sign the attached permission slip and return it to Mr Gray directly or via your child’s form tutor by Monday 4th July. Due to restrictions at Bloomberg we have only thirty-three places available and places will be allocated on a first come basis.
We will be using, on this trip, the medical details previously supplied by you. It is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes to this information we hold on your child.
May I take this opportunity to wish your child well with the start of their A2 course
Yours sincerely
Tony Gray

Bloomberg was awesome!
ReplyDeleteI strongly recomend this trip to take place again next year because it allows you to see how economics is used in the real world and also it changed my opinion regarding economics. :-)
